My all-time favs photo of the 3 of us 🌟

Sargam-Me-Paula

Since Monday, I’ve felt like something is missing ever since my bestie-colleague is no longer working at our warehouse. She and her partner are one of the best besties I’ve ever had πŸ₯Ή I rarely get close to people at work. I mean, I only get close when I allow myself to open up and be close to them. One of the reasons I don’t get close to people easily is bcoz I try to avoid any unnecessary drama in the my workplace πŸ™„ But Paula and Max are different. We all got close starting in Sept 2025. Me, Paula, Maxi, Sargam, and Huzeyfa. (Huzeyfa’s housemate, Ubaid, also worked with us and joined us during our 1st outing. After that, Ubaid didn’t join us anymore πŸ€ͺ maybe bcoz we were all a bit too childish and energetic, hahahaha 🀣)

1st outing.

We planned outings together, like going ice-skating. I still remember how silly we were at the ice-skating rink 🀣 2nd, we all went bowling. On that day, I introduced Hafiz to them becoz I asked him to join me and hang out with us 😍 Then, for our 3rd outing, we went to Caversham Wildlife Park and had a picnic. We played UNO, and I was the most excited one because I’d never had the chance to play it before 🫣 During our 3rd outing, they announced that they would be leaving soon. I felt completely heartbroken because we just had so much fun together 😲 They said they had to leave due to their Working Holiday Visa conditions. Paula comforted me and said there were still a couple of weeks left before they left. Huaaaaaaa 😭

I accepted it as part of being an adult that we need to learn how to let go of attachment when the time comes 😒

As I remember, before they went on a short trip to Esperance, we had lunch together becoz Sargam and I wanted to get something special for them 😁 I still remember how much food I ordered that day because I really wanted to enjoy and share that moment with them πŸ˜‹ Since they were leaving before my beday, they gave me my birthday present early, and I gave them their presents for the trip. Paula is back, but Maxi had to go to Argentina due to an emergency. Huzeyfa is also not around because he went back to Pakistan for a long holiday. Since there were no guys, 3 of us went out together again 😜 We walked around the Perth city area at night just to see the city lights. Anddd we went to a yogurt house in Vic Park before heading home.

Lama lepak kat Elizabeth Quay just waiting for our photo to appear on the screen 😁

Recently, Sargam and I planned a farewell dinner with a few more colleagues, just to gather everyone, catch up, and say our goodbyes before she left. We were all close at work but had never really gone out together. Since we now have a new gegirl group, maybe there will be more outings to come after this? 😏

I can say Paula is such an encouraging person to be around πŸ’ She really makes you a better person. Paula and Max are the reasons why I decided to get my LO (High Reach Forklift) license. They really pushed and motivated me to go for it. Especially Paula tho. She’s sooo positive, even in tough situations. I honestly love how she stays positive even when all of us are dyingggg πŸ˜΅ I just feel that missing someone who genuinely wants to see your worth is different. She will tell you honestly, no matter what.

Being an adult doesn’t mean we can live without friends. Nooo, in fact, we need people like that, people who keep motivating you to reach your goals πŸ₯³ I’ve come to realise how attachment can slowly fade because of life situations or changing circumstancesπŸ™ƒ It made me feel like I was losing a best friend I had been close to for years. It’s not that we’re no longer friends, but we rarely stay in touch anymore because of the distance.

As I was typing this, I found myself recalling the moments I shared with them. We all started working in Jan 2025, Sargam came first, then 2 days later I joined. A week after that, Paula and Max came in. We learned together and worked together. We shared, we complained, we laughed, and we ranted together too πŸ˜› We somehow turned our warehouse into our playground. We sang, dance and we laughed while working on the GTP areas. We laughed at our silly jokes in the decant area. We got tired together, complained together, and still chased KPI in CLS pick.

I really miss my Paula so much. And it really hits different when your non-Muslim besties remind you about your prayer times and are considerate about your halal food. I’m just truly grateful that they really understand me and respect my religion. Good moments are great when they’re shared with the right people.

To Paula and Max, if one day you ever read this post, I just want to thank you both. Thank you for being my besties there. Thank you for respecting me, for helping me find places to pray, and for always being considerate about my halal food. Thank you for being such an incredibly goooooddddd 100x teammate. Thank you for making work feel lighter, for turning tiring days into something bearable, and for making the warehouse feel less like a workplace and more like a space filled with laughter. Thank you for pushing me to be better, for believing in me even when I doubted myself, and for reminding me of my own worth in ways you probably didn’t even realize.

You didn’t just become colleagues, you became people I’ll always carry with me, no matter how far life takes us. I’ll always be grateful for the moments, the laughs, the chaos, and the memories we shared *Wiping my tearss 😭*

Here are some photos of us 🀍

NotaKaki : Yesterday, we had an exchange gifts game and yayy 😁 I got a clutch bag and some hand creams. There was food as well, so I baked a tiramisu for my entire afternoon team. Alhamdulillah, they all loved it. My inventory manager even asked me to bake the exact same cake for her today.

So, 2 days in a row, I baked a 3kg tiramisu. I’m really happy knowing people enjoy the taste of halal, homemade tiramisu.
